you should not revive mercenaries after a certain leveln, whatever the type of quests they e on. Non ruby quests are more efficient than ruby ones. "since I used a lot of them reviving mercenaries that died on non-ruby quests " you re taking it wrong from the start and expressing yourself not clearly enough. "if you would receive the ancient souls solely based on the number of ancients (not their power) and spendable hero souls, it might have been wise to respec. he seems to have first hand knowledge.įirst one should edit again his post so this info does not stay false. To err on he safe side, i would believe thesecond. If you are barely at lets say "Transcend for +10 AS" the lost HS would drop you back to "Transcend for +9 AS". "Fun fact, If you respec your Ancients (75% spent Hero Souls are returned) the lost HS is also deducted from the calculation towards next AS. (EDIT: would be great if someone could verify this)" "If it does say "transcend for +X Ancient Souls", there is now way this number goes down from a respec of your Ancients. i actually had to reread several time to remove the confusion. My mind was totally messed up by this thread. I basically just wondered whether there was an optimal transcendence setup when it comes to saved hero souls and hero souls spent on ancients, but apparently it doesn't matter how many hero souls you spent, just how much hero souls you earned by beating bosses and not deleting them by using the respec ancients option. Or doesn't it matter? And does it matter whether you have many weak ancients or just a few strong ones?ĮDIT: Since it seems like I have been unclear in the way I phrased things: I know the difference between hero souls and ancient souls. have 0 spendable hero souls, having spent 200 to buy and upgrade ancients have 100 spendable hero souls, having spent 100 to buy and upgrade ancients have 200 spendable hero souls, having spent 0 on ancients *For example, is it wisest to transcend while you: it matters how many hero souls you've spent on ancients.* it returns all your hero souls to be spent again, or just a percentage If I want to transcend, is it wise to click the "respec" button in the ancients tab? It returns your hero souls to be re-spent, but I don't know if: Relatively new to the game, couldn't find info about the following question(s):
